When customers submit a loan request form, their needs vary—some may seek Personal Loans, while others may apply for Business Loans. Manually reviewing each submission and routing it to the relevant team can lead to delays, errors, or missed follow-ups.
To streamline this process, you can use Form Rules in Zoho Forms to automatically assign each submission to the appropriate team based on the loan type selected by the customer. This ensures prompt handling of requests and reduces manual overhead.
The first step is to build a form that captures all relevant details for a banking loan request—this includes personal information such as name and contact details, along with loan-related information like loan amount, purpose, and loan type.
To configure Form Rules and auto-assign tasks based on the loan type,
In your form builder, navigate to the Rules tab.
Under Form Rules, click Configure Now.
Add the first rule: If the Loan Type is Personal Loan, assign a task to the Personal Loan Team.
Similarly, add the second rule: Assign a task to the Business Loan Team if the Loan Type is Business Loan.
An email notification will be sent to the Business Loan Team's email address upon submission when the loan type is Business Loan, and similarly to the Personal Loan Team when the loan type is Personal Loan.
No manual intervention is required to delegate submissions, reducing turnaround time and human error. This ensures prompt response and follow-up by the relevant department, saves time by eliminating manual routing, and improves customer satisfaction through faster processing.
