Why is collecting passwords or CVV not allowed in Zoho Forms?

Our Anti-Spam team's tool will automatically detect and block the form if the word Password or CVV is used in the form as we do not support the option of collecting password/CVV details using the forms even with field encryption.

Someone may raise a phishing complaint against the public forms hosted on our end for collecting these details in an attempt to defraud individuals or users of organizations/services. As more and more ISPs become aware of and track this, our entire service may be blocked. We do not allow users to collect this information because we do not want to take this risk.

Zoho Forms is a data collection software where you can create forms to collect the data from the Users. Zoho Forms is not PCI compliant where you could collect & store the sensitive payment information.

If you use a third party payment gateway within the form to collect payments, the payment information will be processed only in the respective payment gateway and not in Zoho Forms.

If you wish to collect, store and process the payment information, try using finance applications in Zoho.
