Setting Task Permissions and Filters
Task Permissions
By default, the task owners, can edit all the fields of an entry. To restrict them from editing certain fields, you can set task permissions.
To do so,
- In your form builder, navigate to the Settings tab > Tasks > Task Permissions.
- Uncheck the fields that you do not want the task owners to edit.
- Click Save.
Filters
To filter out entries while assigning a task based on the respondent's selected choice from the Dropdown and Radio field choices, configure it under Task Filters.
To do so,
- In your form builder, navigate to the Settings tab > Tasks > Filters.
- Select the fields based on which you wish to filter out the entries.
- Click Save.
Upon doing so, the choices of the selected fields will appear in the Filter by filter in the All Entries section. You can now filter out entries of respondents based on their selection of choices and assign tasks to the users in your organization.
