Zoho FSM follows the Rounding off in Sales Transactions settings configured in Zoho Books to determine how totals are rounded in Zoho FSM transactions. These preferences apply to Requests, Estimates, Work Orders, and Service Appointments.
To configure rounding behavior, navigate to Zoho Books > Settings > Setup & Configurations > General, and set the required rounding option. Zoho FSM will automatically apply the same logic to all applicable transactions.
Available Rounding Options
You can choose from the following rounding methods:
No Rounding
The total amount is displayed exactly as calculated, without rounding.
Example: If the Grand Total is $20.63, it remains $20.63.
Round off the total to the nearest whole number
The total is rounded to the closest whole number.
Example: If the Grand Total is $20.63, it is rounded to $21.00.
Round off the total to the nearest incremental value
This option rounds the transaction total to the closest value based on a predefined increment that you specify, such as 0.25, 0.5, 2.0, etc. The system compares the calculated total against the nearest multiples of the selected increment and rounds it to the closest one.
For example, if the Grand Total is $20.63 and the rounding increment is set to 0.5, the amount is rounded to $20.50. If the increment is 0.25, the same total would be rounded to $20.75.
Note: When a transaction is cloned, the rounding preference used in the original (parent) record is retained for the cloned record, even if the rounding settings in Zoho Books have changed since then. This ensures consistency between the original transaction and its clone.
