Hide Billing Menu

Zoho FSM allows you to control the visibility of billing-related features based on your business needs. If you do not use invoicing and payment functionalities within Zoho FSM, you can hide the Billing tab to simplify the interface and reduce unnecessary clutter. Disabling the Billing tab hides all invoice- and payment-related options across the application, ensuring that users only see the features relevant to their needs.

To hide the Billing module:
  1. Navigate to Setup > Customization > Module and Fields.
  2. Disable the toggle for the Invoices or Payments module and click Proceed in the confirmation message.
    Since the Billing tab includes both Invoices and Payments, these modules can only be enabled or disabled together.


Impact of Disabling the Billing Module

When the Invoices or Payments modules are disabled, the following changes take effect across the application:
  1. The Billing tab is hidden in the Contacts and Companies Details pages.



  2. The Invoices tab is hidden in the Work Orders Details page.



  3. The Invoice Mapping and Invoice Preferences options under the Integration tab, as well as the Invoice Mapping and Payment Gateways tabs on the Billing Setup (Setup > Billing) page, will be hidden.



  4. Billing Reports are no longer available.



  5. The Billing Status will be hidden everywhere it is currently displayed across the application.
