Can an Asset be reassigned from one Company/Contact to another? If yes, how?

Yes, an Asset can be reassigned to a different Contact (and automatically to their associated Company).

To change the Contact of an Asset:  

  1. Open the Asset record.
  2. Click Edit.



  3. In the Contact field, select the new Contact from the drop-down.



  4. Click Save.
