Can I link an Asset to a Work Order for a different Company if the Contact is the same?
No, you cannot link an Asset (associated with a particular Contact) to a Work Order for a different Company, even if the Contact is the same.
In Zoho FSM, when you select an Asset while creating a Work Order:
- The associated Contact and Company fields are auto-populated based on the Asset.
- These fields cannot be edited.
Alternatively, if you select the Contact first
- The Asset lookup will show only the Assets linked to that Contact.
