Can I link an Asset to a Work Order for a different Company if the Contact is the same?

No, you cannot link an Asset (associated with a particular Contact) to a Work Order for a different Company, even if the Contact is the same.

In Zoho FSM, when you select an Asset while creating a Work Order:
  1. The associated Contact and Company fields are auto-populated based on the Asset.
  2. These fields cannot be edited.
Alternatively, if you select the Contact first
  1. The Asset lookup will show only the Assets linked to that Contact.
