Can I manually enter the address in the Asset module during creation, or can only the Contact/Company address be used?
Yes, you can manually enter a address while creating an Asset in Zoho FSM.
- Enter the Asset address only if it differs from the Contact or Company address.
- If the address is the same, you can simply leave it blank.
When you create a Work order,
- The Service Address defaults to the Asset’s address (if you've added it). If not, it defaults to the Contact’s address.
- The Billing Address defaults to the Contact’s address.
- However, both addresses are editable — you can:
- Edit the existing address
- Select a different address associated with the Contact or Company.
- Alternatively, create a new address if needed.
