How does Asset selection impact the visibility of Contact or Company details in the Work Order?
When you select an Asset while creating a Work Order, the associated Contact and Company fields are auto-filled based on the Asset’s existing associations.
- The Contact, Company, and Territory fields cannot be edited after selecting the Asset.
- Other fields like Email, Phone, Mobile, Service Address, and Billing Address are also auto-filled but can be modified if needed.
Example:
If the Asset AC #34 is linked to Henry Oliver (Contact) from Upcyclers Inc. (Company),
then selecting this Asset will automatically populate the following fields in the Work Order:
- Contact(non-editable)
- Company(non-editable)
- Territory(non-editable)
- Email(editable)
- Phone(editable)
- Mobile(editable)
- Service Address(editable)
- Billing Address(editable)
