How to scan a barcode or QR code to add an asset for a Work Order in the FSM mobile app?

To scan a barcode or QR code while creating a Work Order in the Zoho FSM mobile app:

  1. Tap Scan QR/Barcode under the Asset lookup field.



  2. You can also access the scanner from the search screen.



  3. If prompted, enable camera access: tap Yes → Allow.



  4. Point your camera at the barcode/QR code.



  5. Matching records will be shown. Tap on the select [] icon.



  6. Select the asset from the search results



    The selected record will be filled in the Asset field.



  7. If there’s no match, you'll see "No results found."

Notes
The code must match a value in the Name, Asset Number, or GIAI field of the asset.
