Can I delete a contact or company?

Yes, you can delete a Contact or Company.
However, records linked to active Requests, Estimates, Work Orders, or Service appointments cannot be deleted.  
 
Contacts/companies can be deleted either from the list view page or the contact details page.

      To delete contacts/company from the list view:
  1. Select the Contacts/companies module and select the checkboxes of the Contacts/companies you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete.



  3. Click Delete in the confirmation message.



  4. If there are Contacts/companies which are associated with active Requests, Estimates, Work Orders, or Appointments, then they cannot be deleted. The outcome of the deletion will be displayed (refer to the screenshot below).

      To delete a Contacts/companies from its details page:
  1. Select the Contacts/companies module and click the contact record you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click Delete in the confirmation message.
  4. If the contact you are deleting is associated with active Requests, Estimates, Work Orders, or Appointments, then they cannot be deleted. The outcome of the deletion will be displayed (see the screenshot below).
