What is an estimate in Zoho FSM?

In Zoho FSM, an estimate is created to provide the customer with a ballpark figure on how much it would cost to complete the requested services.
In other words, an estimate allows you to share a cost proposal with the customer before proceeding with the actual work.
  1. An Estimate can be created from a Request or directly.
  2. Creating an Estimate is optional — you can also generate a Work Order directly or from a Request if no Estimate is needed.
  3. Once created, the Estimate can be sent to the customer for review via email.
  4. The customer can either accept or reject the Estimate.
  5. If accepted, the Estimate can be converted into a Work Order.
  6. If rejected, you can choose to create a follow-up Estimate or close the request.
