What is an estimate in Zoho FSM?
In Zoho FSM, an estimate is created to provide the customer with a ballpark figure on how much it would cost to complete the requested services.
In other words, an estimate allows you to share a cost proposal with the customer before proceeding with the actual work.
- An Estimate can be created from a Request or directly.
- Creating an Estimate is optional — you can also generate a Work Order directly or from a Request if no Estimate is needed.
- Once created, the Estimate can be sent to the customer for review via email.
- The customer can either accept or reject the Estimate.
- If accepted, the Estimate can be converted into a Work Order.
- If rejected, you can choose to create a follow-up Estimate or close the request.
