Why does Zoho FSM say that parts are inactive while generating an invoice, and how can I fix this issue?

This occurs when the part used in the Work Order is marked as inactive in the integrated Zoho Books/Invoice organization. To fix this, you will need to mark the part active in the integrated Zoho Books/ Invoice.

Marking a part active in Zoho Books/ Invoice

  1. Navigate to the Service and Parts module.
  2. Select the part used in the Work Order.
  3. Click View Record in Zoho Invoice.



    You will be redirected to the item in Zoho Books/Invoice, where you can check whether it is active or inactive.
  4. If the item is inactive, click More and select Mark as Active.


You will now be able to create invoices using the part.
