What should I do if I forgot to start work or log my work start time in the Zoho FSM mobile app?
If you forgot to start work or log your work start time, you can still create or edit a timesheet anytime from both the Zoho FSM mobile app and web application.
Scenario 1: Started work late in the app
If you actually started work at 11:30 AM but tapped Start Work or Start Timesheet only at 12:30 PM, you can edit the existing timesheet and update the correct start time.
Editing a Timesheet in the Zoho FSM mobile app
- Navigate to the Timesheets tab.
- In the timesheet you want to edit, tap More Options and select Edit.
- Click the Calendar icon next to the Start Time field.
- Set the actual start time (for example, 11:30 AM).
- Click Done.
- Verify the updated details.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Scenario 2: Forgot to start the timesheet
If you started work at 11:30 AM but forgot to tap Start Work or Start Timesheet, you can still create a new timesheet later with the actual work start time (11:30 AM), even if the current time is 12:30 PM.
Creating a Timesheet in the Zoho FSM mobile app
- Navigate to the Timesheets tab.
- Tap the + (Add) icon.
- Click Create.
- On the New Time Sheet screen, fill in the required details, such as
- Service Resource
- Description
- Start Date/Time
- End Date/Time
- Service Details
- Click Save.
Timesheets can be created or modified based on actual work timings, subject to the permissions configured for the user’s profile.
Make sure the entered start and end times are valid and do not conflict with existing Timesheet entries.
