Why is a user unable to check in from the Zoho FSM mobile app?

Scenario 1 : Outdated App Data / Sync Issues

The mobile app may not be properly synced or could be using cached data, which can prevent check-in. Refreshing the app data can help in syncing the latest updates from the server and resolve such issues.

Refreshing Data in the Zoho FSM mobile app

Open the Zoho FSM mobile app
Navigate to Settings → Refresh Data.
When prompted with "Do you want to refresh the data?", click Yes.

Scenario 2: Check-in Permission Not Enabled

The user may not have the required permission to perform check-in/check-out actions.

Enabling Check-in/Check-out permission in Zoho FSM

Go to Setup → Security Control → Profiles.
Open the user’s profile.
Navigate to Workforce Management → Attendance Logs.
Enable Check-in/Check-out permission for own records.
Click Save.
