What do the different Request statuses mean in Zoho FSM?

  1. New – A Request has been created, but not converted into an Estimate or a Work Order.
  2. Estimate Created – An Estimate has been generated for the Request.
    1. This status applies whether the Estimate is just created, sent to the customer, or even approved.
  3. Estimate Rejected – The customer has rejected the Estimate.
  4. Work in Progress – A Work Order has been created. This happens when the Estimate is approved and converted into a Work Order, or when the Request is directly converted into a Work Order without an Estimate.
  5. Completed – All Service Appointments linked to the Work Order are completed, and the Work Order is marked as Completed.
  6. Closed – Once the Work Order is manually marked Closed, the Request also gets Closed. This is the final stage of a fully resolved Request.
  7. Cancelled – The Request is cancelled before work begins. No further actions can be taken.
  8. Cannot Complete (Terminated) – The Request has been terminated because it could not be fulfilled due to external reasons (e.g., customer unavailability, discontinued service, etc.).
