Can I create a service appointment for a specific services in a work order?

Yes, you can create a Service Appointment for an individual service line item in a Work Order instead of scheduling for the entire Work Order.
To do this:
  1. Go to:
    Work Order Management > Service Appointments > Create Service Appointment



  2. Select the work order for which you want to create the appointment.
    The system will load all its details.



  3. In the Service field, check the service line items you want to include in that appointment.



  4. Enter the appointment timing:
    1. Scheduled Start Date & Time
    2. Scheduled End Date & Time
      (Both should fall on the same day unless multi-day scheduling.)
  5. Assign one or more Service Resources (Agents or Crews):
    1. Resources appear only after start and end times are selected.
    2. Only active agents/crews in the selected territory and time slot will be listed.
    3. Agents who are part of a crew won’t appear individually during crew time.
    4. Hover over an unavailable resource to see why they're unavailable.

If you’ve selected more than one individual resource (not a crew), you must choose a Lead



You can now choose to either Schedule or Schedule and Dispatch.

When to use Schedule  
Click Schedule if you want to:
  1. Save the appointment with all details entered
  2. But notify the field agent later
This keeps the status as Scheduled (not yet dispatched)

When to use Schedule and Dispatch  
Click Schedule and Dispatch if you want to:
  1. Immediately notify the field agent via push notification
  2. Automatically change the appointment status to Dispatched
After choosing Schedule or Schedule and Dispatch, confirm.



After creation:  
  1. You’ll land on the Service Appointment Details page.
  2. From here, you can Dispatch(if you've only scheduled), RescheduleTerminate, or Cancel the appointment as needed.

Notes
The appointment will also be visible:
  1. Under the Appointments tab of the Work Order
  2. In the Service and Parts tab (next to each related service line item)
