Can I create recurring service appointments for periodic maintenance tasks?
Yes, you can create recurring service appointments in Zoho FSM using the Scheduled Maintenance feature. This automates the creation of service appointments for tasks that need to be performed periodically.
To create a recurring service appointment:
- Go to Work Order Management > Scheduled Maintenances and click Create
- Or go to Setup > Maintenance Plans > Scheduled Maintenances and click Create

- Enter the plan details
- Create a Work Order Template and a Service Appointment Template
Work Order Template
- Click Create Work Order Template
- Fill in the required fields:
- Work Order Summary (Summary, Priority, Type, Due Date)
- Contact Details (Company, Contact, Asset, Territory, Address)
- Services (Add service line items with quantity and price)
- Parts (Add part line items)
- Click Save.

Service Appointment Template
- Click Create Service Appointment Template
- Enter Summary and select Type
- Set Start & End Date/Time
- Choose Currency and Service Resource
- Enable Dispatch Appointment if needed
- Click Save.

- Click Next to view the scheduled dates and creation (batch) dates
- Click Save.
