Can I have multiple service appointments for the same work order?

Yes, Zoho FSM allows you to create and manage multiple service appointments under a single work order, if the work order has more than one service line item/service task.

To create multiple service appointments for a work order:

  1. Go to the Work Order record. 
  2. Click Create Service Appointment.


  3. Fill in the required details (time, resource, services, parts, etc.)
    While selecting services, choose the service line items or service tasks that should be included in the appointment.



  4. Click Schedule or Schedule And Dispatch.
  5. Repeat this process to add more appointments as needed, depending on the number of service line items/service tasks in the work order.
  6. You can view the status and details of each appointment from there.


Notes
A service or service task can belong to only one appointment.
For example:
  1. Service 1 has service tasks ST1, ST2, ST3
  2. Service 2 has service tasks ST1, ST2, ST3
You can split these into different appointments (e.g., Service 1 → Appointment A, Service 2 → Appointment B, or mix service tasks across appointments), but a single service/service task cannot be added to more than one appointment.
