How are service territories used to manage the workforce in Zoho FSM?

Service territories in Zoho FSM help segment your workforce based on geographic regions, departments, or business units. Each service territory can have specific users assigned to it for a defined period.

To assign a user to a territory:
  1. Go to Set up.
  2. Under workforce, select territories.
  3. Navigate to the desired service territory.
  4. Click Add Resource.



  5. Select the user, specify the Start Date and End Date, then click Save.

Once assigned,
  1. The user will appear in the Service Resource dropdown when creating appointments for that territory.
  2. They will be displayed under the territory in the Gantt view of the Dispatch Console.
  3. Their availability for service appointments will be limited to the assigned territory and timeframe.
