Zoho FSM provides five built-in profiles: Administrator, Dispatcher, Call Center Agent, Field Agent, and Limited Field Agent.
- Administrator: Has full access to all modules and settings, including user management, billing, integration, workflow rules, data import/export, reports, and system audit logs.
- Dispatcher: Manages appointments primarily using the dispatch console, assigns jobs to field agents, accesses transaction modules, tracks field agents’ activities, and uses FSM APIs.
- Call Center Agent: Creates the service requests raised by the customers as Requests or Work Orders. Has restricted access compared to Dispatchers but can create and manage customer-related records.
- Field Agent: Has access to field operation records such as service appointments, trips, timesheets, and time off. Uses the mobile app to view job details, update progress, add service reports, generate invoices, and collect payments.
- Limited Field Agent: A simplified version of the Field Agent role, suitable for temporary staff or contractors. Has limited mobile app access and cannot view pricing details.
Each profile comes with a predefined set of permissions tailored to their respective roles and cannot be modified. If needed, you can create custom profiles to fit your organization’s unique needs.
