How do I complete a Work Order in Zoho FSM?
A Work Order can be completed only when service appointments have been created for all associated services and all those service appointments are completed. Once completed, the Work Order status changes to Completed.
Completion can happen automatically or manually, based on your transaction settings.
Configuring Work order Completion Behaviour
- Go to Setup > Field Service Settings.
- Scroll down to Work Orders.
- You will see two toggles:
- Automatically complete a Work order
- The Work Order will be marked as Completed automatically when all its services, service tasks, and service appointments are completed.

- When the user marks the final service appointment as completed, they will only be asked to confirm completion of the appointment and the associated Work order will be completed automatically.

- Prompt to complete work order
- The Work Order will be marked as Completed only when the user confirms completion while completing the final service appointment.

- When the user marks the final service appointment as completed, they will also be prompted to mark the associated Work Order as Completed.
