How do I provide discounts for Work Orders in Zoho FSM?

In Zoho FSM, discounts can be applied in two ways:
  1. By Amount
  2. By Percentage
You can also choose the level at which the discount is applied:
  1. Line item level – applies to a specific service or part
  2. Transaction level – applies to the subtotal of the Work Order
The available discount options depend on your settings in Zoho Books/Zoho Invoice:
Settings > Preferences > General > Do you give discounts?

Applying Discounts 

  1. Line item level discount (applies to a specific service or part)  
    1. While creating a Work Order, add the service or part line items.
    2. In the Discount column of the line item, click the dropdown.
    3. Select the currency symbol to apply a discount by amount, or the percentage symbol to apply a discount by percentage.
    4. Enter the discount value.



  2. Transaction level discount (applies to the subtotal)  
    1. After adding all service and part line items, scroll to the Total section.
    2. In the Discount field, click the dropdown.
    3. Select the currency symbol to apply a discount by amount, or the percentage symbol to apply a discount by percentage.
    4. Enter the discount value.
