Quick Actions in Zoho FSM
Zoho FSM offers Quick Actions that help users swiftly access commonly used features and easily navigate the platform with just a few keystrokes, providing easy access to the most essential functions. Use shortcut Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) to open the quick action widget.
Within the search widget, you can do the following:
- Record Actions: All available actions for a record (excluding Delete) will be grouped together for quick access. These actions will appear only when the widget is opened from within the record's Details page. For example, if you're viewing a Service Appointment in the Scheduled status, you'll see options like Edit, Dispatch, Cancel, Terminate, Download, Print, Reschedule, and Change Territory.
- Global: This section offers a centralized space to create new records and navigate to custom views across key modules—without needing to leave your current screen.
You can instantly create new entries for core modules like Work Orders, Contacts, Estimates, Assets, and more without navigating through multiple screens.
You can also quickly navigate to any custom view by clicking on Custom View, selecting the desired module, and choosing the relevant view. To return to the main Global options, simply clear the selections from the search bar at the top.
Additionally, the Create and Custom View options at the top provide quick access to record creation and custom views.
- Web Tabs: All the main modules—such as Work Orders, Service Appointments, Contacts, Assets, Estimates, and more—will be listed in the widget for quick access. This makes it easier for users to jump to frequently used modules.
- Setup: The section provides direct access to various configuration options available on the Setup page in Zoho FSM.
Use the search bar at top to quickly locate the specific option you need.
Note: The Quick Action widget won’t open if there is an active popup or overlay open in the application.
