Set Up Skills
Skills indicate the professional capabilities of the field agents. When a work order is created, the skills required to accomplish the work order are added. The agents or crew will later be assigned to the service appointment based on their skills.
Create Skills
To add a skill:
- Navigate to Setup > Workforce > Skills and click Add Skill.
- Enter the following details, then click Create:
- A name in the Skill Name field.
- A Description of the skill.
Manage Skills
You can edit or delete the skills:
- Navigate to Setup > Workforce > Skills.
- Hover over the name of the skill for the Edit [
], and Delete [
] options.
Assign Skills to Users
Delete Skills Assigned To Users
To delete the skills assigned to a user:
- Select Users from the Workforce menu and click the user whose skills you want to delete.
- Select the Skills tab.
- Hover over a skill and click the Delete [
] icon.
- Click Delete in the confirmation message.
Assign Skills to Crews
Delete Skills Assigned To Crews
To delete the skills assigned to a crew:
- Select Crew from the Workforce menu and click the crew whose skills you want to delete.
- Select the Skills tab.
- Hover over a skill and click the Delete [
- Click Delete in the confirmation message.
