

1. Access the Developer Application.2. Click the Automate tab.3. Click the Notification Profiles option in the left pane. The notification profiles available (if any) are displayed in the right.4. Click the New Notification Profile button on the top right corner of the screen.
(or)1. Access the End Application.2. Click on the Setup icon.3. Click Notification Profiles under the MONITORING & CONTROL section. The notification profiles available (if any) are displayed in the right.4. Click the New Notification Profile button on the top right corner of the screen.5. Provide the necessary details in the form.
- Notification Name: The unique name for the notification profile.
- Managed Entity : Select the managed entity.
- Select the filter condition for which notification action should be triggered.
- Alarms: Select All Alarms for the selected Managed Entity to execute action for all new alarms created.
(or)- Select Alarm to provide a filter condition on the alarms.
- User Alarms/System Alarms: Select whether User Alarms (alarms generated from Alarm Rules) or System Alarms.

- Configure the Notification, Escalation, and Resolution actions.
- Description: Provide the Description for the notification profile
- Select the Notification Group. You can create a new group if the desired group is not available already.
- Run On: Select Always or Custom Time against Runs On to configure the time when the notification profile must be triggered. Always will execute the profile whenever the alarm is received, and Custom Time will execute at the configured time.
- Status: Configure the Status of the notification profile whether ON/OFF.
6. Click Add to create the new notification profile.

Define the action to be performed on generating an Alarm in the Notification Actions screen.4. Set the Enable Filter option to ON to configure the criteria on the alarm for which the action needs to be performed. For example, you can choose only to send out an email immediately when the state of the alarm is Critical. And you can choose to send out an email when the Major state of the alarm has remained for 10 minutes.5. Set Repeat Action to ON if you want to perform an action even if an alarm with the same state is received repeatedly. If set to OFF, the action will be performed only when an alarm with a different state is created.6. Configure the Action.Refer to the Email Notification, Custom Function, and Webhook sections for details on relevant configurations.7. Click the Add Action text link to configure the actions for the Notification Action.

Define the action to be performed on generating an Alarm in the Escalation Actions screen.4. Select the Escalation Period values. Provide the minutes or hours to wait for the Clear alarm before executing the action. For example, you can configure 20 minutes to allow the application to wait for the Clear alarm. If the Clear alarm is not generated by 20 minutes, the action will be executed.5. Configure the Action. Refer to the Email Notification, Custom Function, and Webhook sections for details on relevant configurations.6. Click the Add Action text link to configure the actions for the Escalation Action. Refer to the Email Notification, Custom Function, and Webhook sections for details on relevant configurations.7. Set the toggle to ON for Repeat Action if you want to repeat the action. This will help the user to keep repeating the configured action(s), until the configured escalation notification is resolved or the license limit has reached the maximum for that action.

Define the action to be performed on generating an Alarm in the Resolution Actions screen.4. Choose from the Resolution actions from the list. The action will be performed on the alarm cleared based on this criteria.
Criteria Description All alarms updated with clear severity The action will be executed on all alarms that are cleared. Alarms manually cleared by user The action will be executed on all alarms that are cleared manually by any user. Alarms cleared by application The action will be executed on all alarms that are cleared by the application.5. Set the time-based filter condition in the Enable Filter option. For example, you can configure 10 minutes here to allow the application to wait for 10 minutes after the alarm is cleared for the above selected action.6. Configure the Action. Refer to the Email Notification, Custom Function, and Webhook sections for details on relevant configurations. LINK7. Click Save.

1. In the Notification Profiles view screen, click on the ellipse next to the notification name.2. Click Edit, and make the necessary changes in the Edit Notification Profile form.3. Click Save.
Use toggle button to enable/disable the action.
Click Save.
