All asset operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.

1. Open the Developer Application.
   
2. Select Asset in the left pane.
   
3. Click on Add Asset Model.
   
   
   
   
4. Provide the required values in the appropriate fields. For this illustration, a model called Diesel Generator is created.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Click Create Model.
