Deleting an instance specific command in the end application

Unlike Commands based on Command templates, instance specific commands can be deleted from an instance (Device, Asset, or Location)

All Command operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.

To delete an instance specific Command,
  1. Access the End Application.
  2. Select Devices > Devices in the left pane.You can select Assets to delete a command from an asset or Location to delete a command from a location.



  3. Click the name of the device you want to delete the instance specific command from. This opens the device's information page. For this illustration, the device: Smart Fan is considered.



  4. Click Actions > Command configuration. This opens the Command list view.



  5. Check the box next to the Command you want to delete and click Delete. For this illustration, the command: Fan Mode is selected.



  6. Click Check Dependencies in the Command Deletion validation popup.



  7. Click Delete in the Delete Command pop up.


The instance specific command will now be deleted.
