Disabling a command in the end application

A command can be disabled for an instance by turning off the command status while editing a command.

All Command operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.

To disable a command,
  1. Access the End Application.
  2. Select Devices > Devices in the left pane.You can select Assets to edit a command in an asset or Location to edit a command in a location.



  3. Click the name of the device you want to add the datapoint to. This opens the device's information page. For this illustration, the device: Smart Fan is considered.



  4. Click Actions > Command Configuration. This opens the Command list view.



  5. Check the box next to the Command you want to edit and click Edit. For this illustration, a command: Fan Speed is selected.



  6. Change the Status to OFF.



  7. Click Update.
The command will now be disabled and will not be be able to execute commands for the instance.
