Deleting a record of a custom module

A record of a custom module can be deleted from the end application.

Delete Dependency: If a custom module record is utilized in configuring alarm rules template or other computational datapoint templates, it becomes a dependency for those elements. You must first remove the corresponding alarm rules template and computational datapoint templates using it. Only then can you delete the custom module record datapoint.

To delete a record,
  1. Access the End Application.
  2. Select the required custom module in the left pane. For this illustration, Product > Vendors is selected.



  3. Select the check box near the name of the record you want to delete. For this illustration, Zylker Enterprises is selected.



  4. Click the Delete button that appears.



  5. Click Check Dependencies in the validation pop-up.



  6. Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up.

     
The custom module record will now be deleted.
