Command type widgets are used to perform actions such as On/Off, control brightness or volume, etc., on managed entities. You can choose from a list of commands created in the application and associate it with the corresponding widget. These widgets placed on a dashboard are similar to Control Panels from where you can control the required assets remotely.
For example, you can create a Toggle widget and associate the Lights ON/OFF command that was created using the toggle button option. Once configured, the lights can be operated from here.
You can choose from a list of styles such as Toggle, Numeric, Buttons, Pick List, Horizontal Slider, Vertical Slider, Circular Slider, and Semicircular Slider widgets.
Toggle
The toggle command is used to turn on/off an asset remotely. Used to control all electric assets such as light, fan, AC, generator, machinery, etc.
To create a Toggle command style widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Edit Layout to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Commands in the Add Widget Components section in the left frame.
4. Select Toggle in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the Add Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.

7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the drop down list.
8. Select the instance from the drop down list. Any command created for the instance is displayed in the Commands drop down list.
9. Select the command you want to link to the widget.
10. Click Create.
Numeric
The numeric command is used to increase or decrease any value and control the speed of any asset remotely. Used to increase or decrease fan, generator, etc
To create a Numeric command style widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Edit Layout to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Commands in the Add Widget Components section in the left frame.
4. Select Numeric in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the Add Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.
7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the drop down list.
8. Select the instance from the drop down list. Any command created for the instance is displayed in the Commands drop down list.
9. Select the command you want to link to the widget.
10. Click Create.
The Buttons command is used to perform multiple operations on an asset remotely. Used to set the asset condition to On, Off, Low, Medium,High, etc.
To create a Buttons command style widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Edit Layout to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Commands in the Add Widget Components section in the left frame.
4. Select Buttons in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the Add Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.

7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the drop down list.
8. Select the instance from the drop down list. Any command created for the instance is displayed in the Commands drop down list.
9. Select the command you want to link to the widget.
10. Click Create.
Pick List
The Picklist command is used to set the value of a property of any asset in stages. Used to configure the brightness of any asset in 10%, 20%, 30%, etc.
To create a Picklist command style widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Edit Layout to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Commands in the Add Widget Components section in the left frame.
4. Select Picklist in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the Add Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.
7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the drop down list.
8. Select the instance from the drop down list. Any command created for the instance is displayed in the Commands drop down list.
9. Select the command you want to link to the widget.
10. Click Create.
Horizontal Slider
The Horizontal Slider command is used to set the value of a property of any asset of a scale. Used to configure the brightness or temperature of an asset.
To create a Horizontal Slider command style widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Edit Layout to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Commands in the Add Widget Components section in the left frame.
4. Select Horizontal Slider in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the Add Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.
7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the drop down list.
8. Select the instance from the drop down list. Any command created for the instance is displayed in the Commands drop down list.

To create a Semicircular Slider command style widget:
