Image Layout type widgets are used to display model information and metric details on a custom image. The widget construction involves setting the position and alignment of the metrics info box over the image.
There are three types of image layout widgets that is used to address various requirements.

All Instances of a Model
|
Using this option you will be able to choose a model and all instances of the model will be included for calculation.
Note: Multiple models can be selected with upto 50 instances.

Selected Instances of a Model
|
Using this option you will be able to choose a model and specific instances within the model.
Note: Multiple models and upto 10 specific instances of the models can be selected.
|
Instance Property Grouping
|
Using this option you will be able to choose a model and metric for calculation. Here you can group on specific properties as required.
Note: Upto two models can be selected.

1. All Instances of a Model
To calculate metrics with all instances of a model.
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Add Widget to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Image Layout in the Select Widget Type section in the left frame.
4. Select Image Layout in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the New Widget screen.
6. Upload the image for the widget.
7. Select the option All Instances of a Model from Instance List Type.

8. Provide the name/title for your widget.
9. Select the desired option from Image Value Type.

10. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the Measure drop down list for which you want to display the data.
11. Select the Metric, Unit, and Aggregate.
Note: More module metrics can be added on the image by using the Add Module Metric button.
12. Click on the Add Color Rule text link to set color coding for the info cards based on the metric values. i.e., Each metric can be configured with a different set of colors.

13. Provide the color range to configure the color settings for specific metric conditions.
14. Click Next to display the Image Layout widget view with the configured metric value display cards.
Note: The visual effects of text and placement of the metric cards can be modified in the preview.
15. Click Create.
2. Selected Instances of a Model
To calculate metrics with selected instances of a model or different models.
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Add Widget to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Image Layout in the Select Widget Type section in the left frame.
4. Select Image Layout in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the New Widget screen.
6. Upload the image for the widget.
7. Select the option Select Instances of a Model from Instance List Type.

8. Provide the name/title for your widget.
9. Select the desired option from Image Value Type.

10. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the Measure drop down list for which you want to display the data.
11. Select the instance, and the datapoint for which you want to plot the values on the layout interface. Up to three datapoint values can be selected for display.

Note: More module metrics can be added on the image by using the Add Module Metric button.
12. Click on the Add Color Rule text link to set color coding for the info cards based on the metric values. i.e., Each metric can be configured with a different set of colors.

13. Provide the color range to configure the color settings for specific metric conditions.
14. Click Next to display the Image Layout widget view with the configured metric value display cards.

3. Instance Property Grouping
To calculate metrics based on property grouping.
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Add Widget to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Image Layout in the Select Widget Type section in the left frame.
4. Select Image Layout in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the New Widget screen.
6. Upload the image for the widget.
7. Select the option Instance Property Grouping from Instance List Type.

8. Provide the name/title for your widget.
9. Select the desired option from Image Value Type.

10. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the Measure drop down list for which you want to display the data.
11. Select the metric for which you want to plot the values on the layout interface.

Note: More module metrics can be added on the image by using the Add Module Metric button.
12. Select the grouping.
Note: Use the Advance Options to set the auto refresh interval for data.

13. Click Next to display the Image Layout widget view with the configured metric value display cards.

14. Click Create.
