Image Layout type widgets are used to display model information and metric details on a custom image. The widget construction involves setting the position and alignment of the metrics info box over the image.
To create a Image Layout widget:
1. Access the End User Application.
2. In the dashboard view, click Actions > Add Widget to invoke the dashboard builder.
3. Click on Image Layout in the Select Widget Type section in the left frame.
4. Select Image Layout in the right slide window.
5. Click Proceed to display the New Widget screen.
6. Provide the name/title for your widget.
7. Select the module (i.e. Asset, Device, Locations, System Modules, or Custom Modules) from the Measure drop down list for which you want to display the data.
8. Select the instance, and the datapoint for which you want to plot the values on the layout interface. Up to three datapoint values can be selected for display.

Note: More module metrics can be added on the image by using the Add Module Metric button.
9. Click on the Add Color Rule text link to set color coding for the info cards based on the metric values. i.e., Each metric can be configured with a different set of colors.

10. Select
ON/OFF in the show color range to configure the color settings for specific metric conditions.
For example, the status of a device is displayed in the info card. The color of the card can be set to GREEN if the status is CLEAR, the color can be set to ORANGE when the status is MAJOR, and the color can be set to RED if the status is CRITICAL.
11. Click Next to display the Image Layout widget view with the configured metric value display cards.

Note: The placement of the metric cards can be rearranged in this preview.
12. Click Create.
