Editing a data slicing rule

A data slicing rule can be edited to modify the name, description, and rule criteria.

NotesNote: Rule type cannot be changed by editing. If you want to change the rule type, you must create a new dataslicing rule with the required rule type.

To edit a data slicing rule,
  1. Access the End Application.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.



  3. Click on Data Slicing Rules under the USERS & CONTROL sections.



  4. Click on the name of the data slicing rule you want to edit.  For this illustration, the data slicing rule First Floor is selected.



  5. Click on Actions > Edit Rule.

  6. Make the necessary changes.



  7. Click Save.
All changes made will now be updated to the data slicing rule.
