Deleting a datapoint template in a datapoint group in the end application

Deleting a datapoint template in a datapoint group in the end application

Datapoint templates added to a custom datapoint group can be removed from the group.

Delete Dependency: If a datapoint template in a datapoint group is imported in a product or utilised in configuring alarm rules template or other computational datapoint templates, it becomes a dependency for those elements. You must first remove them from the product they are associated with and the corresponding alarm rules template and computational datapoint templates using it. Only then can you delete the datapoint template.

Note: Datapoint templates in imported datapoint groups cannot be deleted.
