Editing a custom datapoint group in the developer application

Custom datapoint groups can be edited to modify their name and description.

Note: Datapoint groups imported from the gallery cannot be edited.

To edit a datapoint group in the developer application,
  1. Access the Developer Application.
  2. Click Datapoint Groups in the left pane.



  3. Select the datapoint group you want to delete. For this illustration, the datapoint group Home Automation is selected.



  4. Click on Actions > Edit.



  5. Make the necessary changes and click Update.

The changes made will now be updated to the datapoint group.
