Editing a user defined device product

After a user-defined device product is added to the application, you can update its meta data like name, image, description, and manufacturer

All Device operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.

To edit a user device product,

Access the Developer Application.
Select Products in the left pane.
You can toggle between Grid View and List View

For Grid view,

Hover over the product icon you want to edit. For this illustration, the device product EM4M is considered.
Click the vertical ellipsis icon that appears.
Select Edit from the drop-down list. This will open the edit device product form.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Update.

For List view,

Select the check box next to the product you want to edit.
Click the Edit button that appears. This will open the edit device product form.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Update.

The changes made will now be updated to the custom device product.

You can also edit a device product from its information page.

To edit a user defined device product,

Access the Developer Application.
Select Products in the left pane.
Click on the device product you want to edit.
Click Actions and choose Edit Details from the drop-down list.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Update.

The changes made will now be updated to the custom device product.
