1. Access the End Application.
   
   
   
   
2. Select Devices > Devices in the left pane.
   
   
   
   
3. Click Add Device.
   
   
   
   
4. Choose Add As Own Device Product and click Proceed.
   
   
   
   

5. Provide required information in the appropriate fields and click Add. For this illustration, a device product for Arduino is added.

Note: Once you click Add, the device product will be added to the Product Gallery (Device), even if you don't complete the rest of the setup process for adding the device.

6. Add the required datapoint definitions for your device product by clicking Add Datapoint Definition.
   

   
   

   
   

   
   

   Note: It is mandatory to add the datapoint definitions at this stage for your product, as you won't be able to add them once the product is associated with a model. However, you can still add datapoint templates to the associated device model later, which will then become part of the device instance.
7. Click Proceed, after adding the datapoint definitions.
   
8. Determine the model you wish to use:
   

• If it's your first time accessing the application or you have not added any model in the application, you will only have the Model field. Entering the Model Name will create a new device model with that name.
  
  

• Toggle to Create new model if you wish to associate a new device model with the product. Entering the model name will create a new model with the given name.
  
  
  
  
• Toggle to Use Existing Model if you have previously added a model(s) and select the required Model.

      

9. Provide the necessary details in the required fields. For this illustration, the information provided is for adding an Arduino device using the Arduino device product  and Home Gateway device model combination.

10. Click Add.
    
    
    
    
11. Click Ok in the registration successful dialog box.
