Editing Device Model Details

After a device model is created, you can change its name, description, and the allowed profiles for the model.

All Device operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.

To edit a device model,

1. Access the Developer Application.
2. Select Device in the left pane.
3. Click on the Device model name you want to edit. This opens the device model's information page. For this illustration, the device model: Dell Gateway is selected.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Edit Model. For this illustration, we will change the allowed profiles.
   
   
   
   
5. Make the necessary changes. For this illustration, the Developer is added to the allowed profiles.

            

6. Click Save.

The changes made will now be updated in the device model.
