Edge Lite Onboarding

This guide explains how to connect your gateway running Edge Lite to a Zoho IoT application using the device connection credentials generated in the application.

Prerequisites

Establishing the Connection

To establish a connection between the device and the Zoho IoT application,
  1. Copy and paste the values from the Connection Details into the corresponding fields in the Edge Lite web interface.

    Refer to the table below and enter each detail as listed.

  2. If you selected Security Token with TLS as the authentication type while adding the device, select Security Token with TLS in the Edge Lite web interface.



  3. If you selected Client Certificate as the authentication type, select Client Certificate with TLS and download the Certificate file and Private Key file and upload them in Edge Lite.



  4. Once these steps are complete, click Save. The agent will restart automatically.



  5. Restart your device.
  7. Click View Log to see the connection status and live logs.

Once the connection is successful, the device status in the application will change to connected.
