Each model within the application can be configured to enable or disable instance specific settings for monitoring and control modules. When enabled, these settings allow users to add unique datapoints, commands, overview dashboard, and alarm rules to each instance created from that model. It’s important to note that these settings affect only the specific model and not the application as a whole.
For example, Consider three models: Home Gateway, Smart Sensors, and Lights. If the instance specific command setting is enabled for the Home Gateway model, only instances derived from this model can have instance specific commands added. To have instance specific commands for Smart Sensors and Lights, these settings must be enabled individually for each model.
