Registering a device for EM6400NG
In the energy monitoring setup, two devices are involved: a sensor that measures the required parameters and a gateway that collects this information from the sensor and sends it to the Zoho IoT application. Both devices must be represented in the Zoho IoT application. In this guide, we’ll go through the steps to add a device for the Conzerv EM6400NG energy meter.
Adding an EM6400NG device in the Zoho IoT application
- Access the End Application.
- Select Devices > Devices in the left navigation pane.
- Click Add Device.
- Select Add Using Product Gallery (Devices) and click Proceed.
- In the device gallery, search for Conzerv EM6400.
- Click the Conzerv EM6400NG device product.
- On the device product information page, click Import and Proceed.
- In the Add Device form, provide the following information in the relevant fields.Model Type: Create New Model (This toggle appears only if a device model already exists)Model Name: Energy MeterName: MyCZ6400Edge Key: cz_6400_01

- Click Proceed. A new device with the name MyCZ6400 will be added.
- Click Add Another Device.
Now that you have added the Energy Meter you can now proceed to added a device representing the TRB246 Gateway.
