Smart glass Deployment using ManageEngine MDM

Download the Smartglass APK

Before you begin, download the Smartglass APK from Zoho Lens

ManageEngine MDM Setup

You can set up MDM as a stand-alone solution or as part of Zoho One:
  1. Sign up or log in to your ManageEngine MDM or Zoho One account.
  2. Complete the MDM configuration steps.

Device Enrollment       

To enroll the smart glass devices:
  1. Navigate to the Enrollment section in ManageEngine MDM console.
  2. Add your smart glass devices by following the prompts.
  3. Once enrolled, you can manage and monitor them remotely.
Notes
Note: Device enrollment is essential to manage and deploy apps using MDM.

Deploy the Smartglass APK  

Once the apk is downloaded, smart glasses are enrolled, You can deploy the APK by following the steps.

  1. In ManageEngine MDM, go to App Repository under Device Management.
  2. Click Add App and choose Android Enterprise app > Self Hosted Apps.

  3. Upload the downloaded Smartglass APK file.

  4. You can view the App details. Save your changes if made and click Next.

  5. Permissions tab will be displayed. Enable the necessary permissions as needed and click Save.

  6. You can now assign the app to the enrolled smart glasses by clicking Distribute.

  7. You can choose the group or the devices enrolled already and Click Distribute App to install the APK on all selected devices/group.
