The Manage Technicians section allows Super Admins and Admins to add and manage technicians within the organization. The number of technicians you can add depends on the number of licenses purchased. You can invite technicians individually or in bulk, and grant them access to specific departments.
Inviting Technicians
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Organization > Manage Technicians.
- Click Invite Technician.
- Enter the technician’s email address.
- Use the dropdown next to the email address to assign a role.
To grant access to specific departments:
- Click the Departments field.
- Select the required departments.
- Click Done.
- You can also click the + icon to add another technician.
- Click Invite to send the invitation.
- To bulk invite,
- Navigate to Bulk Invitation tab.
- Enter the email addresses of the technicians.
- Select the required role and departments.
- Click Invite.
Note:
If the invited technician already has a Zoho account, they can click Accept to join the organization.
If not, they will be redirected to sign up for Zoho Assist before being added.
Assigning Roles to Technicians
You can assign roles such as Admin and Technician to members of your organization.
The Super Admin has full access, including pricing and billing details.
Admins do not have access to billing and pricing information.
To assign a role:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Organization > Manage Technician.
- Click the dropdown under Role (Technician is selected by default).
- Select the desired role.
