Setting up your link in bio

When you access Linkthread for the first time, you can get started by providing a domain name, bio name, description and a profile image. 


Once the required domain is created, you can start customizing the link in the Linkthread dashboard by adding different components that you wish to include in the page.  

Components 

The following components are available and can be added to your bio page:
  1. Button: A button can be used to redirect visitors to websites, blogs, social profiles, or any other forms of content. You can name the button with text that will describe where you're redirecting the visitors to, and also add an image if necessary. For example, you can label it as 'Read blog' or 'View products' and attach the URL of the destination.
  2. Featured Media: In this section, you can link any video content that you want to highlight and bring to your followers' attention. It can be a video about a new feature launch in your product, an influencer collaboration, an event promotion, or a review. You can complete the look on the page by adding a title and thumbnail.
  3. Featured Text: Featured text on your page can be used to bring more emphasis to a particular message or an announcement. For instance, you can include a welcome message for your visitors. Depending on what message you're adding, you can place this component accordingly on your page.
  4. Social Links: By linking your social media profiles here, you can show your entire social presence in one link. You can choose either the top or bottom position to place this on your page and attach the URL for any of your social networks. 

To add a button:

  1. Click + Button on the left side of the dashboard.
  2. Enter a name.
  3. Enter the URL to be linked to the button.
  4. You can also choose to add a note for your reference. (Optional)
  5. Click + Add an image to add an image to the button. (Optional)
  6. Choose the from and to dates from the drop-down if you wish to schedule it for later.
  7. Click Add to add the button to your page.

  1. Click + Featured Media on the left side of the dashboard.
  2. Enter the URL to be linked to the media.
  3. Add a title for the component.
  4. Click + Add an image to add an image to the media.
  5. Choose the from and to dates from the drop-down if you wish to schedule it for later.
  6. Click Add to add the media to your page. 

To add featured text:  

  1. Click + Featured Text on the left side of the dashboard.
  2. Add the text and emojis you want to add to your bio page.
  3. Choose the from and to dates and time from the drop-down if you wish to schedule it for later.
  4. Click Add to add the text to your page. 

Notes
You can add up to 300 characters to the text box. 
  1. Click + Social Links on the left side of the dashboard.
  2. Click Add a social link and choose the network.
  3. Add the desired URL of the network.
  4. Choose either a top or bottom position for the link to appear on the page.
  5. Click  to drag and reorder the social links.
  6. Click Add to add the links to your page. 

To publish the page:  

After you've added all necessary components and customized the appearance of your page, click Publish now on the right side of your Linkthread dashboard to publish the page immediately.  

To delete the page:  

On the left side menu of the Linkthread dashboard, go to Settings and click Delete page to delete the page permanently.
