Why am I not receiving emails from specific senders?

The reason for not receiving emails from specific senders can be because of the following reasons:
  1. If local delivery is set up in your previous host, emails from the previous server get delivered internally and hence doesn't reach the Zoho Mail servers. To receive these emails, update the Incoming and Outgoing email server settings in your email clients as per the recommended server names and ports. Learn more.
  2. The sender email address could have been blocked by the spam processing.
  3. There can be a MX verification failure.
What can be done?
  1. Check the Delivery logs in the Reports section.
  2. Re-configure and verify the MX records for the domain. [Note: We will notify the MX record failure through Bell Notification or in Admin Console]
  3. Add sender email address in Trusted list.
  4. Drop an email to support[at]zohomail[dot]com with SMTP relay logs shared by the sender.
