What does the default encoding option in my compose settings mean?
The default encoding option is to make sure that emails are readable at the recipient end. The commonly chosen encoding option is UTF-8 as it encodes all the characters in unicode. Depending on the language that is used to compose your emails, you can choose a different encoding.
