Form codes

Iframe

An iframe code, or an "iframe" (short for "inline frame"), is an HTML element used to embed another HTML document within the current webpage. It allows you to display content of one webpage within another, like a window or frame embedded within the parent webpage.

In Zoho Marketing Automation, you can embed a signup form on your website or webpage using an iframe code. This way, you can collect leads directly from your website and have them integrated into your Zoho Marketing Automation account.

Website

A "website code" generally refers to the various types of programming, scripting, and markup languages, used in website creation.

In Zoho Marketing Automation, the term website code typically refers to a piece of tracking code that you need to add to your website to track visitor behaviour  and gather data for marketing and analytics purposes. This tracking code is similar to a website tracking script or tracking pixel.

No CSS

A No CSS or No-CSS code usually refers to a specific HTML attribute or inline style that disables the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) on a particular HTML element. CSS is used for styling webpages, defining how elements should be displayed, and controlling their layout and design. Applying a No CSS code to an element would prevent it from inheriting styles from CSS rules defined in a webpage's style sheet.

No Script

In the context of Zoho Marketing Automation, a no script code refers to HTML code that is used to provide alternative content or functionality for users who have disabled JavaScript in their web browsers.

JavaScript is a scripting language that enables interactivity and dynamic features on websites. When users disable JavaScript, certain elements or features on a website may not work as intended.

The <noscript> tag is an HTML tag that allows you to provide content or instructions for users who have JavaScript disabled in their browsers. This content will be displayed to users when JavaScript is disabled.

Raw HTML

In Zoho Marketing Automation, a RAW HTML code typically refers to the ability to insert custom HTML code directly into your email campaigns or other marketing materials. This feature allows you to have more control over the design and content of your emails, web forms, and other marketing assets.

Using RAW HTML code, you can include custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code snippets to create highly customized and interactive email campaigns or web forms. However, it's important to use this feature with caution, as improper coding can lead to rendering issues, email client compatibility problems, or security concerns.

CMS Tools

Content Management System (CMS) tools are software applications or platforms designed to create, manage, and organize digital content, typically for websites and online applications. These tools simplify the process of content creation, editing, publication, and maintenance, making it easier for individuals and organizations to manage their online presence. CMS tools come in various types and are used for different purposes, but they all focus on content management.

Form URL and QR code

A Form URL and QR Code are both tools used to collect data or information from people, often through online forms. They serve as a means for individuals to access and complete a form or survey. Here's what each of these tools is:
  1. Form URL (Uniform Resource Locator): A Form URL is a web address that leads to an online form or survey. When users access this URL through a web browser, they are directed to a specific webpage that displays the form for them to fill out. Form URLs are commonly used in online marketing, data collection, and surveys, allowing respondents to access and submit information via a web-based form.
  2. QR Code (Quick Response Code): A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that can store various types of information, such as text, URLs, contact details, or other data. Users can scan QR Codes using a smartphone or tablet equipped with a QR Code reader app or camera. When scanned, the QR Code typically redirects users to a specific web address (URL).

Both Form URLs and QR Codes can be used for various purposes like lead generation, event registration, customer feedback collection, and more. They streamline the process of accessing and interacting with online forms or surveys, making it easier for people to participate and provide information.
