SMS Gateways Integration

You can either use the in-house SMS gateway or third party SMS gateways to create and send SMS messages to your recipients. Twilio, MessageMedia, Clickatell, MessageBird, SMSMagic, Vonage, MiSMS, MSG91, BurstSMS, Kaleyra, Nimbus Adcom, ElitBuzz, BulkSMS, and ValueFirst are some of the third party SMS gateway integrations supported by Zoho Marketing Automation. You need to signup and set account in these services if you want to integrate them with Zoho Marketing Automation.
Steps to connect SMS gateway integration

To integrate with Twilio 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  2. Click Connect Apps and select SMS gateways from the available app options
  3. Choose Twilio and click Connect. Click Continue.

  4. After confirming the terms and conditions, fill in the following information:
    1. Twilio AuthToken
    2. Twilio SID
    3. Twilio phone number
  5. Click Integrate.

 To integrate with Clickatell 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  2. Click Connect Apps and select SMS gateways from the available app options
  3. Choose Clickatell and click Connect. Click Continue.

  4. After confirming the terms and conditions, fill in the following information:  
    1. Clickatell API Key
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with BulkSMS 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  2. Click Connect Apps and select SMS gateways from the available app options
  3. Choose BulkSMS and click Connect. Click Continue.

  4. After confirming the terms and conditions, fill in the following information:  
    1. Username
    2. Password
    3. Sender ID

  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with MessageBird 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose MessageBird and click Connect.
  4. After confirming the terms and conditions, fill in the following information:
    1. MessageBird Access Key
    2. Originate
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with SMS-Magic

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose SMS-Magic and click Connect.
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. SMS-Magic API Key
    2. Sender ID
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with Vonage   

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose Vonage and click Connect.
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. Vonage API Key
    2. Vonage Secret Code
    3. Sender ID
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with MSG91  

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose MSG91 and click Connect
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. MSG91 API Authkey
    2. Sender ID
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with BurstSMS

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose BurstSMS and click Connect
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. BurstSMS API key
    2. BurstSMS Secret
    3. BurstSMS Alphanumeric caller ID 
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with MiSMS 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose MiSMS and click Connect
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. Username
    2. Password
    3. SMS Brandname
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with Elitbuzz 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose Elitbuzz and click Connect
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. Elitbuzz API key
    2. Elitbuzz Secret code
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with NIMBUS ADCOM 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose NIMBUS ADCOM and click Connect. Click Continue.
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. Nimbus Adcom Username
    2. Nimbus Adcom Password
    3. Sender ID
  5. Click Integrate.

To Integrate with Kaleyra 

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  3. Choose Kaleyra and click Connect. Click Continue.
  4. Fill in the following information:
    1. Kaleyra API ID
    2. Kaleyra Sender ID
    3. Entity ID
  5. Click Integrate.

To integrate with Rakuten   

  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  2. Click Connect Apps and select SMS gateways from the available app options
  3. Choose Rakuten and click Connect. Click Continue.
  4. After confirming the terms and conditions, fill in the following information:  
    1. API key
    2. Password
    3. Sender ID
  5. Click Integrate.

How to get Rakuten credentials?

  1. Login to Rakuten account and click Enterprise Account tab.
  2. Navigate to API keys tab and click Add API keys.add api keys
  3. Enter the necessary details and click Add.

  4. The new API key will be listed in the API keys tab. Click on the relevant API key.
  5. In the detailed view of the key, navigate to Credentials and click Add Credentials.

  6. You need to set your password in this popup. This password is to be given while integrating Rakuten with Zoho Campaigns.

To integrate with ValueFirst

  1. Click Settings icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Apps.

  3. Click Connect App.

  4. Under Categories, select SMS Gateways and click ValueFirst.
    Choose ValueFirst
  5. Click Connect.

  6. In the confirmation pop-up, check the box after reading the terms and policies, and click Continue.

  7. Enter the following details that you've collected from ValueFirst – Client key, client password, and Sender ID. Now, click Integrate.

 To disconnect integration

Steps to disconnect SMS gateway integrations
  1. Click on Settings icon located on the top right of the application and choose Apps under Integrations.

  2. Click on the third party SMS app you want to disconnect integration.
  3. Click Disconnect button on the top right corner.
  4. Click Proceed in the popup that follows.
