Configure cookies and privacy policy banner

Zoho Marketing Automation uses cookies to track visitors' information on your website. These cookies are placed on your visitor's browser to store information, such as the device used or browser OS, while users access your website pages. This data is further used to identify if a website visitor is a new or returning user, and if they are part of any campaigns being sent.  

Under GDPR and other regulations, Zoho Marketing Automation is strictly committed to the transparency and choice of users being tracked by us, we provide the Privacy settings to notify users that their behaviour is being tracked via website cookies, along with the options to either opt in or opt out from them. From the next visit, based on the cookie opt in or opt out selection made by your visitors, their identity and user data will be tracked or blocked on your website and webpages
Steps to configure cookie policy

  1.  Click Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Cookies Policy banner under Consent and privacy.

  3. Enable the toggle and this will display the cookie banner preview.
  4. Click Edit icon on the right to edit your cookie message.
  5. Choose from any of the following options you want to notify your visitors about the cookie-based tracking:
    1. Notify visitors but don't allow to opt out - Visitors will be shown a banner informing them that they are being tracked with cookies.
    2. Notify visitors and allow to opt out - Visitors will be shown a banner informing them that they are being tracked with cookies. An option to agree to or opt out of this cookie-based tracking will be provided.
  6. Enter the Accept Button Text. 
  7. Enable privacy policy link toggle if you'd like to direct your users to your company's privacy policy page.
  8. Enter the following details:
    1. Privacy policy link display name - Display name which will be hyperlinked to direct the users to privacy policy page.
    2. Privacy policy link address - URL of privacy policy page. Eg: https://www.zylker.com/privacy-policy.html

  9. Click Save.
Steps to disable cookie policy banner
  1.  Click Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Cookies Policy banner under Consent and privacy.

  3. Disable the toggle and this will display the cookie banner preview.disable cookie policy
  4. Confirm in the popup that follows.
