Signup pages and emails

Zoho Marketing Automation lets your contacts update their profile, tell a friend, and resubscribe and unsubscribe via email footer links. On the Create Campaign page, you can include the specifc activities you wish to let your contact perform. However, you cannot remove the option to unsubscribe. Upon clicking the links, pages related to that particular activity will open.
 
Zoho Marketing Automation allows you to set up signup pages and emails that a contact will see after signing up to your organization. You can change its look and content however you wish. 

 How do I customize signup pages and emails? 

Steps to set up sign up pages and email

To customize signup pages and emails:
  1. Click Settings icon in the top right corner of the page.

  2. Select the Signup pages and emails tab under General Settings.

  3. A page will appear with a list of various activities related to subscription.
  4. Select the activity you want to preview.

  5. Choose the type of page or email you want to customize from the set of options listed under the selected activity. 

Update profile  

When a contact clicks this link, they can provide details like their first name, last name, and email address.
  1. Landing page - Allows you to customize the page that appears when a user clicks the Update profile footer link.
  2. Confirmation page - Allows you to customize the page that appears when a user clicks the CTA button on the landing page.
  3. Notification email - Allows you to customize the content of the profile update notification email.
  4. Form - Allows you to customize the profile update form.
  5. Thank you page - Allows you to customize the content of the email that is triggered when a contact successfully registers using the profile update form.  

Unsubscribe

A contact can unsubscribe from a mailing list or organization using the unsubscribe link. It is mandatory to include an unsubscribe link or button in all email campaigns as per the CAN SPAM act. There are two tabs, Opt out from a mailing list and Opt out from organization. You can customize the content in both tabs.
  1. Confirmation page - Allows you to customize the opt-out confirmation page.
  2. Data erasure page - Allows you to customize the data erasure page.
  3. Thank you page - Allows you to customize the content of the email that is sent to the contacts to confirm unsubscribing from the organization and erasure of data.
  4. Confirmation email - Allows you to customize the opt-out confirmation email that is triggered upon clicking unsubscribe in Confirmation page. 

Tell-a-Friend  

Contacts can share your newsletters with their friends by clicking this link.
  1. Form - Allows you to customize the tell-a-friend form.
  2. Forward email - Allows you to customize the content of the email that is triggered when a user clicks the CTA in above form.
  3. Thank you page - Allows you to customize the content of the email that is sent to contacts who share your newsletter. 

Resubscribe  

Contacts can resubscribe to a mailing list by clicking the Resubscribe link.
  1. Landing Page - Allows you to customize the page that appears when a user clicks the Resubscribe button.
  2. Confirmation Page - Allows you to customize the page that appears when a user clicks the button on the landing page.
  3. Thank you page - Allows you to customize the content of the email that is triggered when a contact successfully resubscribes.

Topics   

A contact can manage their preferences by clicking the Manage Preference option. You can customize the Topics Preference Management page that contacts can see when they click Manage Preference.
Steps to customize

To customize the pages,
  1. Click Settings icon in the top right corner of the page.

  3. Select Topics Preference Management Page.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Click the Edit icon beside the component you want to edit.
  6. Make the necessary changes, then click Save and Proceed.

  7. You can customize the Topics Thank You page that contacts can see once their preferences are saved.
